Design Methodology 2: Weekly Capstone Updates

Week 9:

The time has finally come…I completed two interviews!

This week I focused on setting up and knocking out my interviews with experts. They were both super helpful! I spoke to a graduate student who is pursuing her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a LPCC who works with clients.

A big takeaway that I got was that, although I want to convey a message of hope, I cannot say, “It will all be okay.” That sentence comes from privilege, and it’s not that simple for some people. Moving forward, I will need to take this into consideration with my project format and approach.

In class, I completed the Round Robin assignment. I discussed my project progress with four fellow classmates. They helped me take into consideration the animation style I may take, as well as a way to convey my message of hope.
